ABOUT ME

With 15 years experience within the art department, my credits include Wrong Turn (2021), The Bikeriders, Mutilator 2, Bag of Lies, Hauntology, The German King, The Big Conn, Shirley, Nutcrackers, & many more.

I have also designed for my own projects, including shorts and features, such as Somewhere Inside is Me, Remington, A Princess Quest, and scripts in development: REGENESIS, Hurtling Slowly & Return.

I have achieved multiple selections and earned many awards for my writing, directing, and design work.

PRODUCTION DESIGN

I rose through the art department ranks working as an Art PA and Set Dresser, and I have now designed a number of features and shorts as well as a few commercials.

My favourite genres to work in are fantasy, sci-fi & horror. No matter the genre or story, I enjoy the challenge of finding the story through the sets and the subtext through colour and texture.

I tend toward a hands-on approach as I have worn multiple hats on several projects and am no stranger to being a department-of-one.

WRITING / DIRECTING

I have written a multitude of short and feature scripts, some of which have garnered selections and awards in festivals, most notably FilmQuest.

As a director, I put the design of world-building and character first. I value collaboration and communication. Pre-production is my absolute favourite part of production; I believe that as long as there has been extensive preparation, any curveball can be overcome.

I have experience working with children as well as animals (horses mostly).
